Starry Night Over the Rhone

This picture is a beautiful masterpiece made by the one and only Vincent van Gogh. It is a painting of a beautiful Starry Night over a place called Rhone. Rhone is a river in Lyon, France. The river is under the Boucle's Bridge. The painting looks very similar to the real river. In this painting, Vincent uses only 4 base colors, yellow, blue, brown, and black. I think all of those colors are perfect in the painting!!

Starry Night Over the Rhone and the real Rhone!

  1. I like how you compare the painting with a real photo. I would like to know more about Vincent van Gough himself. I would also like to see more of his paintings and one's of other artist's. Thanks!
